Welcome to Cascadia Center for Leadership

Cascadia's Leadership Program is a four-month, ten-day developmental experience. By the end of this program you will have:

  • Greater understanding of your own leadership gifts and challenges
  • Improved effectiveness in interpersonal interactions, including the most difficult ones
  • Increased ability to create and lead high-performance teams
  • Expertise to design and lead meetings that result in smart decisions and commitment to action
  • Increased ability to maximize your contribution and that of others to the organizations and communities to which you belong
  • A plan to continue to strengthen your leadership capabilities and a network of colleagues to support your continued growth and learning.

Cascadia provides a safe and stimulating environment that encourages you to stretch yourself, step out of your comfort zone, and explore new dimensions of your strengths and abilities as a leader. We offer advanced concepts and skill sets relevant to seasoned leaders looking to push their performance boundaries. At the same time, the foundational material offers tremendous enrichment for those getting started in leadership positions.

Domains of Leadership

Five leadership domains are the focus of Cascadia's ten-day Leadership Program:
Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, Group, Organizational, and Inter-organizational/Community. Each of these domains builds on previous ones. For example, it is difficult to lead an organization or community unless you have mastered the knowledge and skills in the intrapersonal, interpersonal, and group domains.
