In addition to its five-month, ten-day Leadership Program, Cascadia Center for Leadership offers other workshops for leaders. These vary in lengthand focus. Many of the sessions are open enrollment. Others are forgraduates of the Leadership Program only.

Description
Dr. Robert Maurer will explore nine strategies for dealing with people; why gender differences in matter in communication; the effects of anger on physical health; types of conflicts to be encouraged and types to avoid; and predicting relationship success.
"The quality of our relationships impacts our physical health as much as our nutrition and exercise habits. Skills in communication and conflict resolution are essential for our personal and organizational success," Maurer stated. Personal relationships drive professional work. Through this workshop participants will learn to recognize challenging situations and skills to work though them.
Dr. Robert Maurer is an Associate Clinical Professor with the UCLA School of Medicine and the founder of the Science of Excellence, dedicated to enhancing enthusiasm and performance in all areas of life.
